Mompreneur Rhonda Sparks is the creator of UV Skinz - sun protective swim gear as seen right here on Savannah Mahoney, Marcia Cross? gorgeous girl.
Rhonda created the company after her husband Darren, who was only 32-years-old, died from skin cancer. Amidst her grief, Rhonda researched skin cancer and learned that just one severe sunburn during a child?s first 15 years could double the chance of developing skin cancer as an adult. Rhonda?s loss inspired her to create UV Skinz, sun protective swim shirts that carry a UPF rating of 50+, which block out over 98% of the sun?s harmful rays, protecting delicate skin from damaging sunburns. Sunscreen isn?t always enough, is often used incorrectly, and may be irritating to some skin types.
Marcia isn't the only celeb parent dressing her kids in this specialized protective gear. Matthew McConaughey?s sweet son, Levi, was spotted in his UV Skinz shirt.
